Rescue Tyres
“I’m so busy I can’t do it anymore myself.”

Hiwad in his own words
Who they are
Meet Hiwad
Mobile tyre fitting in the UK.
Rescue Tyres go out to drivers who have broken down, on a motorway or at home, at whatever hour it happens. There is no shopfront and no passing trade, so the Google listing is the entire business. In Hiwad’s own words it was quite hard getting leads in, in a very competitive market where every mobile fitter is chasing the same searches.
Rescue Tyres has no shopfront, no forecourt and no passing trade. Hiwad drives to people. That means the Google listing is not part of the business, it is the entire front door, and if it is not found at the moment somebody needs it there is no second chance.
His own description of the problem was that it was quite hard getting leads in, in a market where every mobile fitter is chasing the same handful of searches. He was competing with national chains that outspend him and with local fitters who had been listed for years.
The problem
Why a mobile business is a different problem
Almost everything written about local SEO assumes an address. Rank for your town, get into the map pack for the streets around your unit, collect reviews from people who walked in. None of it describes a man in a van covering three counties.
What a mobile fitter actually gets searched for ends in two words: near me. Somebody stood on a hard shoulder at eleven at night is not comparing suppliers. They type where they are, or they do not type a place at all and let the phone supply it, and they call the first number that looks like it will turn up.
So the work was built around moments rather than around a town. A puncture at home is a different search from a burst tyre on a motorway, which is different again from a locking wheel nut nobody can shift, which is different again from wanting a part worn fitted cheaply on a Saturday. Each of those got treated as its own thing, because each of them is typed differently by somebody in a different amount of trouble.
The other half was making the hours honest. Being available at two in the morning is worth nothing if the listing does not say so at two in the morning. Callout wording and opening hours were set to what he genuinely does, which is the sort of unglamorous detail that decides whether a panicking driver calls you or the next one down.
Somebody stood on a hard shoulder at eleven at night is not comparing suppliers.
The work
What we did
The profile came first, because for a mobile business it is the shopfront. Puncture repair, locking wheel nut removal, burst tyre replacement, part-worn tyres and 24 hour callout each got treated as a thing somebody searches for at eleven at night, rather than sitting under one word. Then a post every week and every review answered.
The thinking
Each emergency treated as its own search
Puncture repair, locking wheel nut removal, burst tyre replacement, part worn fitting and 24 hour callout. Somebody searching at eleven at night types one of those, not "mobile tyre fitting".
Built for "near me" rather than for a town
A mobile fitter has no address to rank on, so the profile and the service pages had to carry the coverage instead.
Around the clock made explicit
Being available at 2am is worth nothing if the listing does not say so at 2am. Hours and callout wording were set to match what he actually does.
The craft
- On-page
- Titles, descriptions and headings written for the phrase somebody types mid-breakdown. Ten sections, ten sub-headings.
- Structured data
- AutoRepair markup built on a service area rather than a shopfront, so the coverage reads as national.
- Citations
- Consistent details across the directories Google cross-checks, which is the only address a mobile business has.
- Technical
- Canonicals set, and twenty-three internal links running from the home page into every service.
- Every week
- A post to the profile, and every review answered.
The result
What changed
- +130%More clicks from GooglePeople arriving from search
- +107%More people finding him on GoogleProfile views in search
If this sounds like your business
If you drive to customers rather than waiting for them to come to you, most local SEO advice was not written for you. It assumes a shopfront, a high street and people walking past. You have a phone, a van and a window of about ninety seconds while somebody decides who to ring.
What wins that window is being found for the exact moment somebody is in, at the hour they are in it. That is a different job from ranking for your town, and it is one very few mobile businesses have had done properly, which is precisely why there is room.
The free analysis shows you which emergency searches in your patch you appear for, which ones you do not, and who is picking up those calls right now. You keep the recording either way.
