Google Business Profile management, done for you.

For tradespeople and local service businesses who would rather be on a job than in a Google dashboard. We run your Google Business Profile every month, from the category to the call count, so you show up on Google Maps and people ring. It is paid on results: nothing upfront, and nothing owed until the results agreed with you in writing, before any work starts, are met.

Four client profiles, measured with Google's own counts from the Google Business Profile, from the first month we tracked to the best month since, using Google's complete monthly data. For Rescue Tyres that is views of its profile in search, with its calls beside it; for the others, calls.

All four are tyre businesses, and the work described above is the same whatever the trade. The calls are taps on the call button, so hand-dialled calls are missing. Park Royal's figure covers two months, so read it as two months, not a long-run result.

What does Google Business Profile management include?

Google Business Profile (GBP) management means somebody keeps your profile accurate, complete and answered, month after month. The aim is to show up on Google Maps for the work you most want, and to get the people who find you to pick up the phone. Optimisation is the set-up, put right once. Management is every month after that.

It is the done-for-you version of our free guide to fixing a profile nobody rings, which covers the same ground for anyone who would rather do it themselves. Here is the work, starting with the part that matters most.

Categories first

The experts in the 2026 Local Search Ranking Factors survey rate your primary category the strongest factor for ranking in Google's map results (BrightLocal's summary). We match it to the work that pays and add only extra categories that are true. Category changes go in on their own, never alongside other edits, so a bad switch shows up and can be undone. Why the category comes first.

Services and products

Each job you sell gets its own service entry and a plain description, so Google stops knowing you for one word. Products go on only where you sell goods, such as a tyre fitter's tyres, never as padding.

Opening hours, kept true

Being open when someone searches is fifth on the same survey's list. So the profile shows the hours someone really picks up, special hours go in before each bank holiday, and attributes are set where they apply.

Photos when the work changes

Your own jobs, your van and your face, added when the work, the livery or the team changes. They are for the customer choosing between you and the next listing: we know of no published test showing that photos lift rankings (what the tests found). So no stock images, no geotagging and no weekly upload quota.

Posts with a reason

Every post has a job to do: an offer with an end date, a new service, a change to your hours. Posts are for the customer already reading your profile. Google's tips on local ranking don't mention them, so we don't sell them as a ranking trick.

Q&A, where Google still has it

Google now offers Q&A only in some categories and regions. Where your profile has it, every question gets a plain answer in your words and anything false gets reported. We don't plant questions of our own. What changed with Q&A.

Is your area still open?

Free. A short video of where you rank, who is above you and what it would take, within two working days.

We use your details to prepare your analysis and contact you about it by WhatsApp, phone and email. See our privacy policy.

How do you get more reviews without breaking Google's rules?

Ask every customer, the same way each time, and leave the words to them. We set that up as a simple request to every customer, so asking becomes part of finishing a job rather than something left for a quiet week.

Steadiness matters as well as volume. The same survey ranks recency of reviews 11th and steady growth over time 14th among map ranking factors (BrightLocal). A request after every job does more than a push once a year. How review pace affects your ranking.

How do you keep a profile from being suspended?

Mostly by not doing the things that trigger one. Sterling Sky's suspension guide puts too many edits to important details at the top of its list of causes, followed by an address the business doesn't really operate from. So edits are spread out rather than made in one sitting, and the profile carries the address you genuinely work from, never a formation agent's.

The user list stays short, too. The same guide notes that when one user's Google account is restricted, every profile that account manages is suspended with it. So nobody stays on your profile who doesn't need to be there, old web designers included.

If a suspension lands anyway, we lodge a single appeal in Google's appeals tool, with documents whose name and address match the profile. We never build a replacement listing, which Google tells you not to do while it is still deciding. Nobody can promise reinstatement, so we don't. Read the suspension guide.

Duplicate listings come under the same heading. Google allows one profile per business and keeps any it treats as a duplicate off Search and Maps, and multiple listings sit fourth on Sterling Sky's list of suspension causes. We search Maps for old listings under past names, numbers and addresses, then merge or remove them through Google's own routes.

How will you know the profile is bringing in work?

From Google's own figures, read into your portal every month: how many people viewed the profile, how many tapped to call, and how many clicked through to your website from Google search. Seeing them side by side shows which moved and when.

Treat the calls figure as a trend line, not a call log. Google's figure is the number of times someone tapped the call button, so a customer who dials your number by hand never appears, and Google removed call history from profiles on 31 July 2024.

If calls fall while views hold, the profile may not be the cause. Mostly American research suggests the call button now appears on fewer map results, as the post on falling call clicks explains.

What won't we sell you, or promise you?

We won't sell activity the evidence says does nothing, or anything that puts the profile at risk. And we won't promise what no profile can deliver, starting with distance.

Google builds local results mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and the 2026 survey's experts put proximity to the searcher second only to the primary category. Profile work can raise your relevance and prominence. It leaves distance where it is, which is why the free analysis maps where you can realistically win before anything is agreed.

Your website has to agree with the profile as well: the site's name, address and number matching the profile is 15th on the same list. If the site is the weak link, websites for tradesmen covers it. The profile itself is one part of local SEO for tradesmen, and there are separate pages for roofers, plumbers and builders.

Plenty of profile packages are counted in volume, so many posts, photos or review replies a month, because volume is easy to put on an invoice. Google's own ranking guidance never asks for it. Here is what stays off ours:

  • Geotagged photos. Google strips the location data when a photo is uploaded (Whitespark), and the survey's experts give geotagging little weight.
  • Post and photo quotas sold as ranking work. The 2026 ranking factors survey lists the number of posts among factors with little impact on map rankings.
  • Keywords or towns added to your business name. Keywords in the name rank third in the same survey, which is why the trick is tempting. Google's guidelines don't permit unnecessary information in a business name, so yours stays the one on your van and your paperwork.
  • Planted questions on your Q&A, or answers stuffed with keywords. The number of questions asked is on that survey's little-impact list as well.
  • A second profile or a borrowed address. One business gets one profile, at the place it really works from.
  • Paid or filtered reviews, for the reasons above.

Nothing upfront. Paid on results.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile work is paid on results. There is nothing to pay upfront: you pay nothing until the results we agree with you in writing, before we start, have been met.

Agreed in writing first
What counts as a result, and how it is measured, is set before any work starts.
One business per trade, per area
If we take you on, we turn down your competitors.
No lock-in
After the result, a rolling monthly fee you can stop whenever you like. Leave before it and you owe nothing.
Straight answers
If your market is not winnable, the free analysis says so.

Websites, ads and social media are quoted separately after the free analysis. How pay on results works

From first call to first result

  1. Free analysis

Tell us your trade and area. We record a short video of where you rank, who is above you and what would have to change. It is yours to keep.

  2. An honest answer

If your market is not winnable, we say so. If it is, we agree in writing what a result is and how it is measured, before anything starts.

  3. The work

Your Google Business Profile, the pages that need to rank, citations and reviews. One business per trade per area, so never your rival as well.

  4. You see every number

Clicks, calls and where you show up, in your own portal, straight from Google. You pay once the agreed results are met.

What people ask us

How much does Google Business Profile management cost?

We don't publish a price, because the work depends on your market: how many rivals there are, how strong they are and how much ground there is to make up. The analysis comes first, and the price follows on the first call. Our work on the profile is paid on results, so no invoice arrives until the results written into our agreement at the outset have been met.

Is Google Maps SEO the same as Google Business Profile management?

They overlap, but they are not the same job. Google Business Profile is the free listing formerly known as Google My Business, and managing it means keeping it accurate, complete and answered every month, which is what this page covers. Google Maps SEO is the ranking side: which searches you show up for, how far from your base you appear, and what the businesses above you have that you do not. That is covered on our Google Maps SEO page. Most clients need both, and the free analysis shows which matters more for you.

Do you need my Google password?

No. You invite us as a manager from the People and access screen of the profile, which is how any agency should be added. Google lets each manager use their own account, so no password changes hands and you stay the owner. Managers can do the work but can't add or remove users or delete the profile, and Google makes new managers wait seven days before some settings open up.

Can you guarantee a top three place on Google Maps?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Google's ranking help says a better local ranking can't be requested or bought, and distance from the searcher is part of every result. What we can tell you is whether your market looks winnable, and the free analysis shows that before you commit to anything.

Can I do it myself?

Yes. Nothing on this page is secret. The guide for profiles that get seen but not rung ends with a one-hour fix you can do this week. Hand it over when that hour keeps losing to the work.

My profile has been suspended. Can you help?

Yes. First, don't create a new listing: Google tells you not to while an appeal is pending, and the copy would be treated as a duplicate. Mention the suspension on WhatsApp or the phone when you ask for the analysis. We check who has access and where the profile says you are based, then send one appeal backed by documents that match it. The suspension guide covers what to do while you wait.

How often will you post on my profile?

Regularly, and every post has something to say: an offer with real dates, a new service, a change to your hours. Google archives posts after six months unless they carry a date range. The 2026 ranking factors survey rates the number of posts as having little impact, so post volume is never what we sell.

My address is hidden because customers never come to me. Does that matter?

It changes what customers see, not where you rank from. Google lets you name up to 20 service areas, within roughly two hours' driving of where you are based. But a Whitespark test by Darren Shaw suggests that once the address is hidden, Google falls back on the address the profile was first verified at. Moved yard or house since then? Check that before anything else. Service area or address.

What happens to my profile if I stop?

Nothing happens to it, because it was yours all along. You stay the owner and we work as a manager, so ending the arrangement is a matter of removing us, and with no minimum term you can do that whenever you choose.

See what your profile is missing.

The analysis looks at your profile the way a customer and Google both see it: the category, the services, the reviews and the businesses sitting above you. If the profile is suspended or keeps vanishing from the map, say so when you get in touch.
