Car detailing marketing that fills the diary from Google.

For mobile valeters, detailing studios and hand car washes who want the next full valet, correction or coating to find them on Google, not just on Instagram. We sort your profile, give each job its own page and keep reviews and fresh photos coming. Local SEO and Google Business Profile work is paid on results: nothing upfront, and nothing to pay until the results we agree with you in writing, before we start, have been met.

  • Nothing upfront. You pay when the agreed results arrive
  • One valeter or detailer per area, so never your rival as well

A mobile valeter in Derby, and two firms that also drive to the job.

All client results

eMobile Valeting travels to customers around Derby, Nottingham and the wider East Midlands. We built its website and track its Google figures in the portal. It is our one valeting client with figures to show, so the other two here are mobile tyre fitters: a different trade, worked the same way, from a van with no shopfront. Each figure compares the first month we tracked with the best month after it, in whole calendar months as Google reports them.

eMobile Valeting's figures start from June 2026, its first full month with us. Calls from its Google Business Profile went from 6 in June to 12 in September 2026 (Google Business Profile), and it was shown on Google 147% more often over June to August 2026 (counting Search Console impressions and Business Profile views). Those call counts are small, so a few calls either way move any percentage a long way. Rescue Tyres and Fast Tyre fit tyres. Neither valets cars, and they appear here only because they work the way a mobile valeter does.

Mobile valeter or detailing unit: what goes on your profile?

If customers never come to you, hide the address and set a service area. Google's profile guidelines say a service-area business should hide its address, that a business with no shopfront gets one profile, and that the area shouldn't reach beyond roughly a two-hour drive from where you're based. A van and a home address is exactly that case.

A unit changes it. If owners drop cars at a studio for a two-day correction or a film fit, show the address, provided someone is there to meet them during the hours you list. Plenty of detailers do both, with mobile valets in the week and coatings in the unit. A business with premises can show its address and list a service area as well, so one profile covers both.

Listing a wide area doesn't make you rank across all of it. Distance from the searcher is one of the things Google weighs (Google), so a long list of towns won't put you level with a valeter who is based in them. Google Maps SEO explains what moves you up where you can compete.

We pulled the ten claimed Google profiles with "detailing" in the name around Nottingham on 21 October 2026, through DataForSEO's Google Maps listings data. All ten led with the category Valeting service. Six had no website linked. Both with "mobile" in the name had an address showing.

Where does the repeat work come from?

From customers you have already valeted, because almost nobody searches for a plan. "Maintenance valet" gets about 10 searches a month across the UK. People find you for a full valet or a correction, and the regular slot gets sold on the driveway afterwards. So Google wins the first booking, and a page that explains the plan clearly makes the second one an easy yes.

Coatings feed the same loop. A coated car still needs washing the right way, so a coating page that explains the aftercare visit sells the next booking too. Commercial work runs on different rules and wants a page of its own.

Dealers and forecourts

Used cars have to be prepped before they go on sale, often at short notice and on the dealer's own site. A trade page that says which days you can attend, how many cars you can turn round and what you're insured for gives a sales manager what they need to ring you.

Fleets and councils

Some fleet valeting goes out to tender. Fife Council, for one, published a notice on 31 March 2026 for a framework for vehicle steam cleaning and valeting. A firm with a handful of vans won't run a tender. It searches, and a commercial page is what it finds.

Where does your wash water go?

Not into a surface water drain, if it carries detergent. In England, the Environment Agency and Defra's pollution prevention guidance lists vehicle washing among the activities that produce contaminated water, which it calls trade effluent. Surface water drains discharge directly to the environment, it says, so only clean water should go into them.

It gives two routes for the dirty water. Collect it in a sealed system for reuse, treatment or removal by a registered waste carrier, or send it to the foul sewer with your water company's permission. Polluting can bring an unlimited fine, up to five years in prison, or both. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own guidance.

This belongs on your site because a dealer or fleet manager may well ask before letting you work on their premises, and a careful homeowner may wonder too. If you use a recovery mat, a waterless method or your own tank, say so in plain words on the page. This is a summary of the guidance, not legal advice, so check your own set-up with your water company.

Do photos and reels actually win valeting work?

They win the booking once someone has found you, but they rarely do the finding. A reel of a correction can do well with your followers, while the person whose car needs a valet this Saturday is typing into Google. So the same footage goes on your profile too. Google takes videos of up to 30 seconds there, and asks that images represent reality, without heavy filters.

Shoot before and after from the same angle, in the same light, on the same car: a muddy footwell then a clean one, swirls under a torch then the corrected panel. Add them as the jobs happen, so the profile keeps showing recent work. Which photos help a profile

Then make booking a two-tap job on a phone. Google lets you connect a booking provider to your profile or add your own booking link (Google). If you take bookings over WhatsApp, a WhatsApp link on every page opens the chat straight away.

What we change each month on your profile and site

Google's UK Local Services Ads list has no category for valeting, detailing or car washing, so there is no pay-per-lead box above the map to buy into. The work happens on your own profile and pages, every month:

  • The right lead category. Valeting service for most valeters and detailers, with Car wash added only if you really run one. Picking the lead category
  • A page for every job. Valets, interior deep cleans, paint correction, ceramic coating and PPF, each answering what that buyer asks first, and each mirrored by a service on your Google listing. What a service page needs
  • A review asked of every customer. Every customer gets a simple request, and every review gets a public answer. If you'd like a card for the dash, the free Google review QR code tool makes one. Why a steady trickle of reviews wins
  • Recent work on the profile. Before and after photos and short clips added as the jobs happen, as part of running your Google profile.
  • One name and number everywhere. The same details on Yell, Facebook, Instagram and any brand installer listing you hold. Which UK listings matter
  • Google's figures in your portal. Calls, views and clicks as Google Business Profile and Search Console counted them, quiet months included. How Google counts a call

From first call to first result

  1. Free analysis

Tell us your trade and area. We record a short video of where you rank, who is above you and what would have to change. It is yours to keep.

  2. An honest answer

If your market is not winnable, we say so. If it is, we agree in writing what a result is and how it is measured, before anything starts.

  3. The work

Your Google Business Profile, the pages that need to rank, citations and reviews. One business per trade per area, so never your rival as well.

  4. You see every number

Clicks, calls and where you show up, in your own portal, straight from Google. You pay once the agreed results are met.

What people ask us

How much does marketing a valeting business cost with you?

There's no price on this page, because a mobile valeter covering a few Derby suburbs and a coating studio chasing a whole county need very different work. The figure comes when the free analysis is back, and there's no commitment to sign up. Local SEO and Google Business Profile work is paid on results: there is nothing to pay upfront, and you pay nothing until the results we agree with you in writing, before we start, have been met. Once that's happened, billing is month to month and you're free to stop whenever; walk off before the result is reached and no bill follows. Websites, ads and social media aren't part of that deal and are quoted separately. How paying on results works

How quickly will the diary fill up?

Nobody can honestly name a date. That turns on how many valeters and washes already hold the map around your base, how many reviews they have, and what state your profile and site are in today. The analysis shows that gap. Every month the portal logs Google's call and click counts, and while the agreed result is outstanding, the waiting is our cost, not yours.

Will you work for another valeter in my area?

No. We take one valeting or detailing business per area and we never act for your direct competitor, so the van you keep passing on the same estates can't sign up alongside you. If someone near you already works with us, we'll say so before anything else.

I get most of my work from Instagram and Facebook. Do I need Google as well?

Keep doing what works. Posts reach your followers. Google reaches the driver who needs a valet this week and has never heard of you, and "car valeting near me" alone is typed about 27,100 times a month. The two help each other: your reels give a profile visitor a reason to book, and the profile brings in people your posts would never reach.

I work from home with no unit. Will my address show on Google?

Not if you set the profile up as a service-area business. Google's guidelines say to hide the address in that case and list the areas you cover, no more than about two hours away by road. If you later take a unit and customers drop cars there, the address can go back on. Service area or address

Should my pages say valeting or detailing?

Both, with each word where it fits. More UK drivers type valeting: about 27,100 searches a month for "car valeting near me" against 12,100 for "car detailing near me". Correction, coating and PPF buyers tend to search for the job itself, so those pages lead with the job's own name.

Can SEO win dealership and fleet contracts?

It can win the ones that start with a search: a used car dealer short of prep cover, or a local firm with a few vans. That needs a separate trade page, away from your household valets, that sets out your capacity, insurance and how you handle runoff. Council and larger fleet contracts usually go out to tender on Find a Tender or Contracts Finder instead.

I run a garage that valets as well. Which page is for me?

Both apply. This page covers the valeting and detailing side, and SEO for garages covers MOTs, servicing and repairs. One profile with the right main category and a page for each job can carry both, and the analysis tells you which of them the map around you rewards.

Will you keep my website and booking system?

Yes, if they work. We improve sound sites that we didn't build, and we keep whatever booking you already use, whether that's an online calendar or a WhatsApp chat. If the site is costing you bookings, the analysis says so plainly, and any rebuild is priced by itself, outside the pay-on-results SEO. Websites for tradesmen

Who gets the next valet booked near you?

Give us your base and the services you'd like to sell more of: valets, corrections, coatings, PPF or fleet work. We'll make a short screen recording of the searches around you, showing which valeters and washes take them today and what separates your listing from theirs, and send it inside two working days. No charge, and it's yours. If your patch can't realistically be won, you'll hear that from us.
